SmartSource, Inc is seeking a Network Engineer in Burr Ridge, IL for a permanent opportunity.

Job: Title: Network Engineer

Location: Burr Ridge ILL

Our client has been serving small to midsize businesses in the Burr Ridge area for over 25 years, selling and maintaining security equipment.

They are seeking a Network administrator/Network Technician to add to the team.

Position will include various levels of help desk, field work for troubleshooting/repair/evaluation, and systems support (post training).

Will be mostly in-house in Burr Ridge, especially in the beginning. However, over time, some travel to local job sites (greater Chicago metro area and downtown) will be required.

Some overtime may be required.

Skill set:

CCNA or equivalent work experience, Switches, Routers, VPN, VOIP Exposure.

Experience performing network evaluations desired.

Ability to troubleshoot IT issues.

Any work experience with Security Cameras/NVRs, VMware WiFi or VOIP phone systems a strong plus.

Must be eligible for Illinois PERC card.
