Senior Platform Engineer, Workday

You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

At least 4 years experience in platform engineering on HR platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or Successfactors)
At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP

Bachelor's Degree
-5+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management
-3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions
-3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
- Workday Integration Developer certifications
-1+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
-1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
-2+ years of experience in Agile practices


The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $134,100 - $153,000 for Senior Platform Engineer
San Francisco and San Jose, California (Hybrid On-Site): $142,100 - $162,100 for Senior Platform Engineer
Illinois (Hybrid On-Site): $125,000 - $142,600 for Senior Platform Engineer


This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
