This role will serve as a subject matter expert and primary resource for consultants throughout the organization in need of research and articulation of information and concepts.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a tenured career writing sophisticated content and conducting intensive research. In addition to these main areas of focus, the Vice President will also be involved in slide design to create or support blog posts, articles, research reports, presentations podcasts, videos, consulting projects, and others.

• Superior healthcare knowledge
• Superior writing skills, including the ability to clearly express complex ideas and information in an engaging style
• Superior research skills
• Experience with a range of communications formats, including speeches, short- and long-form prose, PowerPoint presentations, podcasts, and video
• Ability to work under deadline
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work independently
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare research, writing and other forms of communication
• Outstanding communication, people, and leadership skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Highly intelligent with a strong wish to continue learning
• A career-motivated professional who possesses a superb work ethic and well-developed interpersonal skills
• A high level of self-confidence and an entrepreneurial spirit
• A high degree of integrity and strong moral and ethical standards
• A true team player who is both collaborative and flexible
• Public or media relations experience a plus

• A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related program, or in health administration or related program

• Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.Work Environment
• Travel Required: Occasional (up to 10%)
• The role is based in the Chicago area and will allow for a hybrid work arrangement to work from home and work in the Chicago office as needed.
