as we help shape the future through digital, data, and AI. We are
looking for a passionate, dynamic, Agile Transformation Manager to
define and lead Global IT's Agile transformation journey and guide
our organization and enterprise through a multi-year agile
transformation and modern ways of working. The ideal candidate will
have a deep understanding of agile principles and practices, and a
proven track record of successfully implementing agile
transformation. You will help train and guide nascent agile product
and platform delivery teams while building scalable agile processes
globally. This role is a highly visible and impactful position that
will be a key change agent to reinforce an agile mindset shift
across the enterprise. The Agile Coach will also lead the rollout
and adoption of toolsets and practices across Global IT to support
the transformation toward agile (i.e., automated regression testing
tools, Azure DevOps). Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid
work environment. Three days per week in the office in
Libertyville, IL is required. Key components of role include: ---
Expertise in Agile Methodologies: Well-versed in Agile frameworks
like Scrum, Kanban, or Lean, and will tailor these practices to fit
the needs of our teams. In addition, you will have a deep
understanding of how product-based teams work and the journey
toward transforming an organization toward modern agile methods.---
Facilitate Change Management: Influential leader to guide teams in
adopting new Agile working methods through direct coaching, leading
to improved performance, workflows, better team dynamics, and
higher quality outcomes. Develop and execute change management
strategies to ensure smooth transitions and buy-in from all
stakeholders.--- Mentorship and Support: Provide training,
coaching, and mentoring to teams and individuals on agile practices
and principles. helping them overcome challenges and fostering a
culture of agility and continuous improvement.--- Promotion of
Agile Mindset: Beyond teaching the mechanics of Agile, you will
inspire and instill an Agile mindset across the broader
organization and help teams embrace Agile practices and champion
continuous improvement, unlocking potential for innovation and
adaptability. --- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with
leadership, product owners, and other stakeholders to align agile
initiatives with business goals.--- Organizational Transformation:
You will be integral to transforming the Global IT Organization
into a responsive and effective entity, serving as a facilitator of
change, mentor in Agile principles, and a guide in applying these
principles to real-world scenarios. Responsibilities:
- Liaison & Communication
- Communicate and instill Agile principles and practices to all
levels of the organization.
- Strategy and Planning
- Define the strategy and plan for rolling out new Agile
practices to enable our teams and leaders through their journey of
adopting Agile principles and practices.
- Drive cultural change by championing an Agile mindset across
the organization.
- Provide leadership for building Agile and Product Management
skills for the enterprise.
- Assess current processes and recommend improvements to adopt
Agile best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with agile
transformation.
- Development
- Coach Global IT Associates in effective Agile delivery:
- Conflict resolution
- Continuous improvement
- Cross-functional team development
- Removing impediments
- Aid with communication, improving transparency, and radiating
information.
- Aid in the establishment of Product Team KPIs and OKRs and
overall agile transformation metrics to keep IT management informed
about team progress.
- Operational Leadership
- Identify knowledge gaps and educate teams to close these
gaps.
- Coach teams to aid them in becoming self-organizing.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure teams stay on track with
Agile techniques.
- Support our VMO leader in the transformation of our PMO into a
VMO (Value Management Office) and tracking an agile portfolio
geared toward delivering business outcomes.
- Support teams in determining resource allocations to support
Agile practices.
- Maintain objectivity in troubleshooting issues by applying
Agile principles.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly
assessing and enhancing agile processes.
- Metrics and Reporting
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to
measure the success of agile transformation efforts. Requirements:
- 8-12 overall years experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach with minimum of 2
years continuous experience as an Agile Coach in a large corporate
setting is a key requirement for this role.
- BS/BA Computer Science or equivalent related field of
study.
- Formal certification as either Certified Scrum Master (CSM),
Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) or similar certifications.
- Experience with scaled agile frameworks required.
- A proven record of portfolio level Agile transformation
required - execution experience is critical.
- At least 2+ years foundational experience as an IT Delivery
Lead, Release Train Engineer or Agile Product Manager
preferred.
- Experience in software development environments.
- Proven record of implementing Agile techniques in large
corporate settings, and various work cultures and environments.
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of Agile software development
methodologies, values, and procedures (Scrum Kanban, SAFe,
etc).
- Thorough understanding of DevOps and the software development
lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Agile metrics and reporting methods
- A deep understanding of how product-based agile teams
operate.
- Experience with Agile tools.
- Superior written, oral communication, and influencing skills
with the ability to effectively interact with multiple levels of
management and diverse personality types.
- Strong people skills including facilitation, coaching and
conflict resolution with the ability to motivate employees to
elevated levels of performance.
- Able to work independently; manage change and adapt approach in
an evolving situation.
- Team-player with the ability to work within a collaborative
environment assuming the voice of diligence and influencing without
authority.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple Agile teams
concurrently.
- Ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teams and
stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
