DescriptionOur Global Impact team is seeking a Manager, Strategy
and Alignment to play a key leadership role in driving and
operationalizing the strategic planning process for Global Impact.
In this role, you will work with the Senior Director of Strategy
and Alignment to drive alignment on key priorities with the Impact
Leadership Team, including budget requests and ongoing resource
management, as well as drive understanding of Global Impact
priorities across the McDonald's system.Responsibilities:
- Lead project plan creation (i.e., inputs, outputs, meeting
cadences) and execution (i.e., templates, updates on initiatives as
well as communication) to coordinate final Global Impact strategic
plan across Impact colleagues.
- Drive continuous improvement of strategic planning process for
Global Impact based on updated direction from Global Impact and
Global Impact Leadership, Corporate Strategy, and takeaways from
prior years.
- Develop strong working relationships with key partners in
Corporate Strategy and Corporate Finance to understand enterprise
process and requirements for each planning and budget management
cycle.
- Work closely with the Finance Business Partner to drive budget
planning and management to support Global Impact priorities and
meet enterprise Finance achievements (annual planning,
re-projections, etc.).
- Own education of strategic planning process to Impact
Leadership Team and Impact sub-function team members.
- Work closely with Global Impact Strategy and Alignment
sub-function leads and key partners from other global functions to
accurately articulate and reflect function priorities and budget
needs.
- Assist leadership in building cases and support for ad hoc
projects and initiatives.
- Support on Impact Leadership Team special projects as
needed.
- Provide surge support to corresponding Alignment Manager owning
function-wide People initiatives (Talent, Culture, Ways of Working)

is $112,860 - $143,900 per yearThe above represents the expected
salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining

job-related factors.QualificationsKey Proficiencies include:

perspectives and complex processes into simple, digestible messages
and calls to action.
- Potential to become a trusted advisor to executives through the
ability to balance expertise, learning mentality, and empathic
approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Excel and PPT, comfortable creating
executive-facing slides and presentations.Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree and equivalent work experience
in management consulting, strategic planning, or initiative
management.
- Demonstrated success in leading sophisticated projects or
programs requiring complex team member management.
- Experience working in partnership with leadership teams.
- Preference for interest in Impact-related fields.
