  • Must be AHA BLS certified
  • Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals
  • Pharmacology 1,2 exam required
  • Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years is Ascension Color Vision requirement
  • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics knowledge is required
  • NIH Certification is required
  • Ascension EKG Exam with a score of 90% or higher with only 2 attempts
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation completion required
  • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding needs to be done onsite
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip instructions are provided in the Document Library
  • Vaccination requirements: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, 2 Step PPD OR IGRA, Varicella, and Tdap
  • Ascension Criminal Background Check, Ascension EPLS, and Ascension OFAC verifications are required
  • Annual specialty-specific skill checklist completion is necessary for clinical roles
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to the first assignment
  • Ascension Badge Photo with a white or blue background is needed
  • Ascension Education Verification must be accurate and explained for any gaps
  • Proof of assignment required but standard COA is accepted
  • ACLS certification must be AHA
  • Ascension Specialty Exam completion is necessary
  • Ascension Influenza Vaccine Exemption/Declination is available, but a mask must be worn at all times during flu season if exemption is declared
