Then look no further Our patient focused, private practice has the best doctors & team in the area We're looking for a full-time, experienced (preferably certified, expanded duties), dental assistant to join our team. --- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history --- Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested --- Assist hygienists when needed; seat patients, take x-rays, schedule next hygiene appointment --- Prepare trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies --- Make temporary crowns & bridges --- Clean and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms as needed --- Take high quality digital dental radiographs --- Management of supplies & equipment --- Patient charting and notes as instructed by the dentist --- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room Qualifications --- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required --- Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) preferred --- Current CPR certification preferred --- Radiology certification preferred --- 3 years of experience as a DA (a must) --- Cerec experience preferred --- iTero/Invisalign experience preferred --- Must be a Team Player --- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills --- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines --- Possess a professional and positive attitude --- Possess great customer service and hospitality to our patients Hours: Monday 10:00 - 7:30 Tuesday 6:30 - 4:30 Wednesday 6:30 - 4:30 Thursday 6:30 - 2:30 Compensation commensurate with experience, qualifications, skill set and performance.
