Job Description:

Leads the Produce team, overseeing daily operations, profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.Accountable for hiring, developing, and separating Team Members. Maintains a positive company image by providing courteous service to customers and Team Members.

• Holds team members accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Builds a positive work environment and fosters teamwork.
• Makes hiring and separation decisions.
• Monitors and achieves sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Maintains proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with department leaders and vendors.
• Sustains exceptional knowledge of competitors and industry trends.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork and mutual respect.
• Selects, trains, and develops Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.Requires 24+ months of retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in a wet and cold environment, and use tools and equipment.
