Description: St. Paul's Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping operations, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding high cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Train, schedule, and manage housekeeping staff to ensure efficiency and quality performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed to prevent shortages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Address resident and staff concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain a comfortable and safe living environment for residents.
• Handle employee performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed. Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or healthcare is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and infection control standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team with professionalism and respect.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
