Code/Classification: ExemptPOSITION OVERVIEWPrimary responsibility
is to provide technical leadership and develop software
applications by studying requirements, systems flow, data usage,
and work processes following the Software Development Lifecycle to
meet the user needs for GN. The responsibility includes evaluating,
estimating, architecting, developing, unit testing, and supporting
the deployment of Software applications while mentoring team
members to reach their full potential. This position requires the
ability to quickly learn complex domain concepts and a good
understanding of DevOps best practices.Key Responsibilities
- Determine and identify high-level functional and technical
requirements by working with global teams.
- Be actively involved in software development, systems
integration, build, and deployment of high-quality cloud
solutions.
- Provide expertise to the group regarding enterprise data
strategies, application, and data security.
- Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and create
reusable subsystems using modern modeling techniques.
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices.
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating the problem
definition, requirements, and proposed solutions.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development
tools and programming techniques, and participating in educational
opportunities.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
- Proven track record in cloud development using Microsoft
Azure.
- Expertise in implementing and consuming web services.
- Experience with Microservice architecture and Docker.
- Experience in solution design using design patterns, hands-on
development and testing (incl. automated testing).
- Solid development experience in C# and .NET Core.
- Experienced in API design and development.
- Experience in cloud-based security design principles.
- Experience with Agile development, preferably in a SAFe
environment.
- Experience in Git.
- Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience
in working with global teams.We are looking for a Software Engineer
