Infosys is seeking a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge, and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for a module. Additionally, you will lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and/or travel to project locations.
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  
• Experience in Java/Spring Boot/Microservices with exposure to AWS.
  
• Experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
  
• Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies.
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP & Azure is a plus.
  
• Experience with web application support on NodeJS.
  
• Experience with Development/Support on Kubernetes is a plus.
  
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams, namely technical, business, and management teams.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  
  The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face-to-face.
